Terms & Conditions

General

1. Simple Home Solutions (hereinafter called ‘the Supplier’), accept all orders subject only to the terms and conditions herein contained.

Prices

1. The price of the goods/contract shall be the Suppliers quoted price at time of acceptance of order.
2. The price is exclusive of any applicable value added tax, which the Buyer shall be additionally liable to pay to the Supplier.

Delivery

1. Any times quoted for delivery/completion are to be treated as estimates only, although every effort will be made to fulfil delivery/completion dates, no liability arising from delay is accepted by the Supplier.

Risk & Title

1. The risk of loss and or damage to goods supplied by the Supplier shall pass to the Customer when they are delivered to the Customer.
2. Ownership of the goods shall remain with the Supplier (which reserves the right to recover any equipment) until payment in full for goods and materials under this Contract and all previous Contracts has been received by the Supplier in accordance with these terms and conditions of sale.

Payment

1. All accounts are strictly nett and payable 7 days from date of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the ‘terms’ on the invoice. The Supplier reserves the right to implement an interest charge at 2% per month on all monies outstanding and charge all reasonable monies incurred in recovery of such. The right of set off shall be deemed to apply on all outstanding monies.

Contingencies

1. The Supplier shall not be responsible for non-performance of the product, nor under liability to the customer in respect of such non-performance if same is of any cause beyond the control of the Supplier.

Mesh Wi-Fi Installation

1. A Mesh Wi-Fi Installation is the installation of a series of Wi-Fi units that will be connected to a customer's existing broadband service with the purpose to improve on or expand their Wi-Fi signal at their property. Each installation is a bespoke service that requires a Pre-Assessment of the customer's property to gauge the current broadband connectivity and subsequent current Wi-Fi signal, therefore enabling the assessment of any issues being incurred by the client.
2. Where appropriate due to travel time/distance a charge of £75 for the Mesh Wi-Fi Pre -Assessment is required. This will be payable prior to SHS conducting the assessment. If the customer proceeds with a quote for installation of a Mesh Wi-Fi system based on the assessment this charge will be taken off any total for the installation.
3. Once the Mesh Wi-Fi network is created it is the customers responsibility to connect all their Wi-Fi enabled devices such as doorbells, mobile phones etc.
4. It is the customers responsibility to install the TP Link Deco app if they wish to manage the Mesh Wi-Fi network, if they want to change the password that is set up during installation and if they want to manage updates for the mesh system
5. Within the first 7 days of installation should the customer feel the Mesh Wi-Fi network is not providing the desired outcome the customer can contact SHS and allow SHS to improve connectivity, if possible. If SHS cannot improve connectivity the customer will be fully refunded any monies that have been paid. After the 7 days have passed it is deemed that the system has met the desired outcome.

Legal

1. Unless otherwise agreed in writing the contract shall in all respects be construed and operate as an English Contract and in conformity with English Law.
